I need my circle to reach out and check in with me to see how I'm doing. Having someone take the time to do that shows me they care. I need my peeps to follow through and do what they say they will. I DON'T need words of sympathy and comments of how things will be better.

Tell at least two of your circle that you need more contact. Make sure you are doing your part to reach out to them as well. You might have a conversaton with some or all of them about your needs and,in return, what they need.

This is such wonderful self-awareness! Now the next logical question is, have you shared this information with your inner-circle?

The response I got was, "it takes time" and nothing changed. That's one of the main reasons I struggle with loneliness so much. I feel like I do reach out and say what I need but nothing comes from it, and then I just want to pull away completely from everyone.

I'm so sorry. I know that's miserable. Maybe time to look for a new group of friends if they aren't offering what you need? And aren't willing to listen/learn/change?

Also - not sure if you've seen the announcement about "The Pathway to Peace," but I'd love to have you in this group, if interested! 6 months of weekly group coaching, followed by 6 months of monthly coaching. <3
