An update on Lindsey Austin.

In case you haven’t seen it on social media, my sweet Lindsey is in the hospital.

For a bit of back story, Lindsey switched from one SSRI to another a little more than two weeks ago. After several nights of no sleep, increased blood pressure, and some new mental health symptoms, she was treated at our local emergency room last Wednesday.
Unfortunately, things worsened from there.
Lindsey is now at a hospital downtown, where she’s been for a few days, and will likely be for another week.
I don’t want to go into too many specifics because I cherish Lindsey’s privacy. But please keep her brain and body in your prayers.

Lindsey will be out of work at least the next two weeks, and likely a bit longer. I’ve also been off most of this week, and will only be able to work here and there for a while, as we figure out our new normal.

Father, we lift Lindsay up to you, and ask that You would heal her body, mind, and spirit. Give her rest, and help her to feel Your love that surrounds her. We ask, too, Father, that you would give her medical team wisdom to know what steps need to be taken to bring Lindsay back into health. We also ask, that YOU would prescribe the perfect dosage and type of medication for Lindsay, so that she can continue to live peacefully in this world. We also lift up Steve, and ask that your give him peace, and the type of comfort that surpasses all human understanding. Help him, and the children rest in You, Father, as you take care of ALL their needs during this time. We ask this in the HEALING Name of Jesus. This is our prayer; Jesus is Lord!
