"SO many tears and breakthroughs! I have been carrying around wounds and toxic thought patterns for decades. Steve helped me to name these behaviors so that I could face it head-on, feel it, and work to heal it."

- Anne B. (life coaching client)

Who is Steve Austin?

I was a pastor when I nearly died by suicide. I understand what it’s like to hide in the pews (and behind the pulpit), for fear that people might find out the truth about your struggles, dysfunction, disability, and doubts.

That’s exactly why I spend my time...

Today, I consult church leaders from around the U.S. on how to make their faith communities a safe place for those who are suffering. I also host the Catching Your Breath podcast, blog regularly at catchingyourbreath.com, and am a sought-after speaker at international conferences.

“As I started to delve into some of the resources from Steve Austin, I realized I push down a lot of my real emotions and present an ‘I've got it together’ mask. I also didn't have appropriate boundaries to keep me emotionally healthy. Steve's courses and coaching helped me face these aspects, have some real conversations with people I needed to, and feel stronger and more confident about taking care of myself.”

-Rhonda (life coaching client, newsletter subscriber, and group coaching participant)
